Xaranna nestles deep in the heart of Botswana’s game-rich Okavango Delta. With sweeping views opening onto a seasonal lagoon, this light and airy camp enjoy luxurious solitude on its own Delta Island, within an exclusive 90,500-hectare wildlife concession. Airlink offer scheduled flights from Johannesburg or Cape Town to Maun. Access is via air from Maun into the Okavango Delta, followed by a road and/or boat transfer to camp if not arriving in a helicopter.
Nine en-suite safari tents each boast a romantic sala, indoor bathtub, and a private plunge pool. Xaranna’s camp combines canvas and bleached timber, accented with shades of soft lily pink and olive green– all boasting sweeping Delta views.
The guest areas are all carefully positioned to maximise the expansive views across the Delta to the distant silhouettes of Delta tree lines. The inviting guest sitting area boasts a spacious reading section – perfect for afternoon relaxation. The elevated dining area extends onto a shady veranda which in turn leads onto an open-air boma where candlelit dinners are served beneath the stars. Activities include guided walking safaris, interpretive game drives, seasonal water-based experiences including motorized boats, traditional mokoro (dugout canoe), and fishing excursions.
