Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge

Mpumalanga | Sabie Game Reserve

Located 6 hours drive from Johannesburg, in the Big 5 Sabie Game Reserve, Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge offers a unique and sensory revelation. Sculpted into a slope of the earth, it is almost invisible in the landscape.

Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, described as the most environmentally sensitive lodge in Africa, has 13 ultra-luxurious suites and a Presidential Suite. The style of the lodge offers both artistry and innovation, breaking from the traditional game lodge style. Each suite includes a private plunge pool and glass-fronted bathroom, including wooden sculptures by renowned artist, Geoffrey Armstrong. The Presidential Amber suite boasts a magnificent egg-shaped bath and carved wooden headboard tree, as well as its own study and kitchen.

Facilities include an outdoor boma, sculptured from tree roots, a secluded library, art gallery, meditation garden, spectacular underground wine cellar, and various unique dining areas overlooking a waterhole. The lodge also boasts an Amani Spa, offering holistic treatments, massages, and a cardio gym.

Twice daily open vehicle game drives with Shangaan trackers are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request.
