Shamwari Riverdene Family Safari Lodge is situated in the Shamwari Private Game Reserve, which is in the malaria-free Eastern Cape, an hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth.
The nine luxury inter-leading rooms can accommodate a maximum of two adults sharing with one child. Six suites contain twin beds and a further three suites have twin beds plus an extra sleeper couch. The suites all have comfortable amenities.
Families can enjoy the rim-flow swimming pool with a shallow area for children as well as the children’s supervised playroom & jungle gym. There is also a gift boutique, a boma overlooking The Bushmans River, a shared bar/lounge area, and both indoor and alfresco dining facilities.
