Samara Karoo Lodge

This beautifully renovated farmhouse is surrounded by mountains creating a nature amphitheater. The lodge includes 9 suites of varied sizes.  There are three Karoo Retreat Suites, which are spacious stand-alone cottages, each containing a four-poster bed, fireplace, and private patios with seating all overlooking the waterhole. Four Homestead Suites (Two garden suites and two mountain suites) are located inside the main homestead and are near the dining room and living areas.  Each suite has a semi-private patio on a wrap-around verandah.  A Sibella Family Suite has two interleading rooms, one with a king bed and one twin, sharing a private patio.

Facilities include well-appointed gardens, a living room and dining room each with its own fireplace, a cosy bar, TV area, boma, and grand swimming pool.

Activities include game drives, Cheetah Cubs’ Den, walks on the Sibella Trail, picnics, cheetah tracking, mountain biking, conservation safari, overnight in the star bed, and fly camping.  Samara offers your own private playground.
