The lodge perched on a cliff, offers panoramic views of the bush, and includes a variety of spacious cottages. World’s view cottage is luxurious and private and is perfect for 2 couples. This upstairs / downstairs cottage has two en-suite rooms, covered patio, open fire, sitting room and pool with sunbeds. Hideaway cottage is secluded and perfect for a honeymoon. The room includes spectacular views, private garden, seating area, and plunge pool. A Family cottage is idea for a family of 5, and includes a large sitting area, open fireplace, and decked balcony. The Lookout cottage overlooks the valley and waterhole, and lastly Eagles nest, located in the main lodge offers the best views with spacious balcony, with day bed.
Facilities include a lounge and dining room both with fireplaces, large patio overlooking the gorge, bar & heated swimming pool.
Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request.
Horses are a passion at Ant’s Hill, and with over 90 horses living within the reserve, a horse safari is like no other. Game viewing excludes elephant & lion, providing the opportunity to offer up close and personal horse-riding in the bush and walks for families. The reserve also offers fantastic plains game that is often not seen on other reserves i.e., Livingstone eland, gemsbok, sable, caracal & civet.
