Amakhosi Safari Lodge

Situated on the riverbank overlooking magnificent views of Mkuze River’s rushing waters and tranquil landscape, the lodge has 6 luxurious river suites and two honeymoon suites. The suites have wall-to-ceiling windows and a private viewing deck. An interchangeable lounge area is available in 2 of the suites, converting to a second bedroom for children. The honeymoon suites have high thatched ceilings, glass walls, a large deck, lounge, bubble pool, and hammock overlooking the river.

Facilities include a swimming pool, dining area, lounge, gym, and the Amakhosi River Spa. On some evenings, dinners are served in the traditional cattle kraal around the campfire under the star-studded African sky.

Activities include game drives, birding, and seasonal frogging safaris under the expert guidance of experienced rangers. Bush walks are another option to interact with nature, especially in the cooler months.
