Well-positioned off the N3, the main route between Johannesburg and Durban, Springbok Lodge is just a four-and-a-half-hour drive from the busy metropolis of Johannesburg and mere three-and-a-half hours from the aromatic coastal city of Durban. Making the lodge even more accessible is the 1.2km landing strip for light aircraft. Helicopters can comfortably land directly at the lodge. This wheelchair-friendly lodge has thirteen standard luxury tents, and eight family units (sleeping 4 guests in each). Each of the luxury tents has its own viewing deck with chairs, a king-size bed (also available as twin beds), a hospitality tray, complimentary sherry, safety deposit box, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. The bathrooms are en suite and have a beautiful ball and claw bath and outdoor shower.
Facilities include a lounge and dining area, kiddies jungle gym, volleyball & croquet, and a swimming pool.
Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request.
