MCH Tented Camp Garonga is located in the Makalali Private Game Reserve, a Big 5 game reserve in South Africa. The reserve is situated close to Hoedspruit which has an airport, and the drive from Johannesburg is approximately 6 hours.
There are four tents that are fully en-suite with sumptuous bathtubs and indoor and outdoor showers. Each features a well-stocked bar and indoor lounge that flows outside onto a private deck. Perched on a kopje (little hill), you can revel in panoramic views of the wild Makalali and Drakensberg Mountains beyond.
Laze by the pool, be pampered at the massage Sala or snuggle up with a book at the fireplace in the library. The library is equipped with Wi-Fi. There is also a fire pit and outside boma as well as a dining area. The most exciting of all is a sleep-out deck overlooking a waterhole.
