The lodge overlooks the seasonal Sand River and has regular wildlife visiting the riverbed. There are 10 chalets with a small verandah, either facing onto the Sand River or plains area with a waterhole. This includes 7 superior suites, each with two sleeper couches, en-suite bathroom, an outdoor shower, and 3 standard rooms with en-suite shower only, 2 of which are interleading.
