Thabamati Luxury Tented Camp is located approximately 7-hour drive from Johannesburg in a private concession of approximately 6,500 hectare in the Big 5, Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park.
Unique and authentic, Thabamati consists of only 4 luxury en-suite safari style tents, with each overlooking a fantastic dam and amazing views. This intimate ‘green’ camp is eco-friendly utilising only solar power and gas. Each safari suite has a private deck, views of dam from the bathroom, with indoor and outdoor shower.
Facilities include an open plan lounge, dining, and bar area, viewing deck, sunken boma, and swimming pool, all overlooking the dam.
Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request.
